Q: Why use Aptimus?

Q: What makes Aptimus technology different?

Our technology is built for testing, and continually self-adjusts your campaigns exposure based on consumer response and your feedback.
Q: What types of campaign products does Aptimus support?
A: Having been in online marketing for nearly 15 years, Aptimus recognizes that solutions are rarely one-size fits all. We offer a flexible, suite of products ranging from basic forms hosted by Aptimus or link out offers where the form is hosted by the client, to full blown rich media campaigns with customized follow-up to meet your end goals. Our experienced Sales & Account Management staff will work with you to find the right combination of products to ensure your campaign is a success.
Q: How long does it take to create a campaign?
A: While Aptimus can turn campaigns around in as little as one day, we prefer to methodically work through the campaign process with you to ensure we have a solid understanding of your needs and metrics. Turn around times for typical campaigns range between 3 to 5 days for design and delivery approvals. More complex campaigns with multiple interaction points and rich media, may take longer to ensure we have the right consumer experience designed.
Q: How will Aptimus optimize my campaign?
A: Your Aptimus Account Manager will work with you to analyze the response for your campaigns. Depending on their findings they may create and test additional creative versions, adjust targeting, rules or validations being used, as well as adjust distribution throttles to fine tune the exposure for you.
Q: What type of reporting can I expect?
A: Every Advertiser receives a logon and password to access our secure, web-based reporting, which details your campaigns activity including performance by channel, demographic, time of day and day of week performance. Of course our reports also provide you all the basic stuff too like conversion rates, number of orders, estimated costs, and delivery information by day. Our powerful reporting is easy to use and is continually updated to give you accurate data in real-time.
Q: Can Aptimus support custom campaign creative?
A: Absolutely! Our design and technology team is always happy to work with you on a creative solution for your marketing needs.
Q: What types of validations does Aptimus use to ensure quality?
A: Aptimus uses an extensive suite of validations including front end form checks, consumer prompts to confirm interest, real time USPS validations, and backend email verification via auto-responder and call confirm where we actually contact the lead via phone to confirm their interest.
Q: How does Aptimus control volumes?
A: Aptimus is a competitive network based on consumer response to your campaign, so your Aptimus Account Manager will work closely with you to ensure we achieve your desired results.
Q: Can Aptimus support unique data delivery requirements?
A: Aptimus supports a wide variety of delivery options (link to spec), however if you have a unique situation just let us know as our team is always up for a challenge.
Q: What level of transparency does Aptimus support?
A: Your success is our goal, so our Account Management team is dedicated to optimizing your campaign within our Network. That being said, we want your feedback on how our leads are converting and performing for you. When you let us know what leads are not working for you, we not only reject those leads in our system so you don't have to pay for them, but we take that feedback into consideration on where we distribute your offer within our network. If you have a team of people with little else to do, we can also provide you source codes for the leads so you can go through all this analysis yourself, but we think it'd be a lot easier and faster if you let us do it.
Q: Can Aptimus support international campaigns?
A: Yes! We can run international campaigns as a link out, where the consumer links directly to your page, or as an Aptimus hosted offer. In addition to our ability to target and qualify these consumers, we also offer address validations for UK, Canada, Italy, Spain, Brazil and Australia.
Q: What's involved in rejecting leads?
A: While we work really hard to ensure that each lead we send you is a quality lead, we understand that on occasion you may need to reject a lead we have provided you. In order to do this, you simply log onto your Aptimus client reporting and upload a list of bad email addresses. We handle the rest including incorporating that feedback into your campaigns performance to modify it's exposure, adjusting the campaign cap (if any) and adjusting your billing.
