Premium Campaign (html form wrapper & rich media)
In addition to the Standard Campaign elements, the Aptimus Network supports full html capabilities and rich media for its premium campaign presentations. This creates a completely unique user experience by positioning your campaign, including its form, along with rich media components such as store locators, video or flash files, within our exclusive Point of Action locations. Benefits include full branding, increased consumer interaction and of course our competitive pay per action pricing model.
To keep a consistent feel for your campaign across print, television and the web, the Aptimus team will work with your existing media to integrate it into the design and provide you a mock up for review.
Integration and methods for including rich media in campaigns is determined on a case by case basis, however general preferences for Aptimus are as follows:
Images
- Vector or other high quality image format
Flash
- For streaming videos using Flash, Aptimus will need the .FLV path (not the file itself) to the location on your server. Aptimus can then host the Flash player that plays the video being served from your site.
- Non-streaming flash files can be provided in a .SWF format however the file size should be kept low to prevent load time issues.
Videos
- As with flash videos, it is preferred that the client host the video and simply provide Aptimus a direct link or path to the video.
Mini-Applications (store locators, look-ups etc.)
- Depending on the content and function Aptimus maybe able to host mini-applications (software and licensing permitted) however it is preferred that these be hosted by the client similar to videos.
