Quality & Validation Services
Aptimus ensures that only the highest quality leads are delivered to its clients by a variety of validations, including front-end and backend validation, as well as client specific validations.
Even with the extensive validations, Aptimus realizes that on occasion clients may still find some leads unacceptable. To accommodate this, Aptimus allows advertisers to notify Aptimus of any rejected lead by simply providing the email address for the rejected lead. Aptimus uses this record level feedback to adjust where your campaign is distributed so that it gets more exposure on better performing sites. Your Aptimus Account Manager will also review your feedback to determine if additional validations or targeting are needed.
Distribution & Targeting
Aptimus can control the level of exposure your campaign receives by limiting which channels it is allowed to run in. Your Aptimus Account Manager will work with you in determining which channels are most appropriate for your needs. In addition to this, Aptimus can apply specific targeting requirements (listed below) to your campaign to ensure it is only displayed when this criteria is met.
- Country targeting
- Geo targeting
- Gender targeting
- Age targeting
- Day of Week and Time of Day targeting
Consumer Front-End Validations
Front End validations are designed to give the consumer an opportunity to correct their data to ensure their order is successful. These validations are done in real time and provide specific messaging to the consumer to facilitate corrections.
- Required questions are completed
- Responses are in valid formats
- Exclusion lists (bad words, symbols, repeating numbers)
- Email SMTP and domain check
- Duplicate email
- Name validations
- AJAX rules to facilitate form completion
- Custom question rules & responses
- Zip to State match
- USPS Validation
- Phone Validation (US Only)
- Lead Validation Services where we validate the combination of name, phone and street address
- Basic Credit Card Validations (see Appendix)
Qualifying Services
Depending on your campaigns needs, the Aptimus order process can also use a variety of qualifiers to ensure the leads we take meet your needs.
- Qualifying questions
- Lead flushing
- Double Confirm consumer messaging where we require the consumer to confirm their interest in a secondary window
- Aptimus also offers our exclusive In-Line Page Win-Back process where we can present an alternate, related campaign of yours to leads that previously would have been flushed. For example, if you had a campaign that was intended for males, and a female expressed interest in it, rather than flushing the lead all together, we could present an alternate campaign of yours intended for females.
Post Consumer Back-End Validations
Post consumer validations are applied after a lead has been submitted by the consumer and include:
- Email Address Verification where Aptimus sends a confirmation email on your behalf to confirm the email address is valid and available. Bounced leads are rejected prior to being sent to the advertiser.
- Call Confirm services can be used on phone leads where Aptimus actually calls the consumer to confirm their phone number and interest.
Trouble Shooting
Since Aptimus applies validations to the offer level, we can work directly with our clients in optimizing lead quality. Whenever possible, provide your Aptimus Account Manager with specific examples of items that you feel are undesirable in a lead so that we may look into incorporating this criteria as custom validation requirements for your campaign.
